Editorial Board of the Journal is following the recommendations and standards of the COPE's Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors (COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors) and the other well recognized Russian and international journals and publishing offices

The Editorial Board of the journal BULLETIN AB RGS accepts the Declaration "Ethical Principles of Scientific Publications" adopted at the General Meeting of ANRI on 20 May 2016 and in case of disputable situations related to the violation of ethics of scientific publications, sends requests for consideration to the Council on Ethics and Scientific Publications of ANRI.

Publishing in peer-reviewed journals is a way of scientific communication and contributes significantly to the development of the relevant field of scientific knowledge. It is important for a journal to set standards of behaviour for all parties involved in publication: Authors, Editorial Board, Reviewers, Publisher.

The following standards of behaviour should be observed as generally accepted principles for the publication of research in the journal BULLETIN AB RGS:

Ethics of the Editorial Board

The Editorial Board, Editorial Board, and founders of the journal BULLETIN AB RGS observe publication ethics, the rules of which are set out in the "Declaration on Publication Ethics and Unacceptable Practices" (http://www.maik.ru/ru/authors/declaration/), in the codes and standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE, Committee on Publishing Ethics) (www.publicationethics.org) and by leading publishing platforms and scientific communities. Compliance with the norms of publication ethics is a necessary requirement for maintaining the quality of scientific publications and the trust of the scientific community in the results published in the journal.

Ethical standards of the journal BULLETIN AB RGS assume the exclusion of plagiarism from publications, the inadmissibility of submitting papers with the same result to different journals (inadmissibility of self-plagiarism), the exclusion of authors repeating the same scientific data in different articles, the inadmissibility of including in the number of authors persons who did not directly participate in the research.

The Editorial Board of the Journal ensures an objective review of the submitted publications. The conclusion on publication is adopted at the meeting of the Editorial Board, which has the right to reject the manuscript or send it for revision. The Editorial Board of the Journal notifies the authors about the decision, including comments on the manuscript on the terms of confidentiality of reviewers.


Ethics of authors

The authors of the article undertake to comply with the ethical standards of the journal. The authors guarantee the reliability of the results presented, absence of plagiarism and self-plagiarism in the publication, unfair citation of other works.

The authors are responsible for the content of the article, as well as for the absence of information in it that contains information classified as a state secret or commercial secret. Each of the authors must be a direct participant of the research, the results of which are given in the article.

The authors assume the obligation not to send the article with the same content, as well as the same illustrative material to other journals before receiving the conclusion on refusal of publication from the editorial board of the journal BULLETIN AB RGS.


Ethics of the reviewer

The reviewer undertakes to comply with the ethical standards of the journal. The reviewer guarantees confidentiality of the content of the article, undertakes not to use the information obtained in the course of reviewing in his/her own interests.

The reviewer undertakes to objectively consider the content of the article, not to allow formal reviewing without specific analysis. The reviewer undertakes to reject or recommend for revision articles that are irrelevant, of low scientific level, do not meet the requirements of the journal to the structure of the article (including the presence in the article of a review of other publications on the subject), as well as manuscripts with poorly designed illustrative material.

The reviewer has the right to check manuscripts for plagiarism using the software "Anti-Plagiarism"
